SF are partnering with a well known business in Warwickshire, who are looking to transform their Finance function, to a high performing team. They are looking to bring in talented individuals who want to get involved in the project, which will include system automation and new credit/collection techniques and procedures.

The business are looking to reward the team with a new bonus structure and study support.Purpose of the Job:

Support the team lead in the collection of debt from escalated key accounts , ensuring KPIs are achieved through effective debt collection. Key Skills, Experience & Knowledge:

  • 2+ years' experience in Credit Control/Debt Recovery
  • Proficient in Excel, ability to reconcile large volumes of data
  • Experience in line management, coaching, and team motivation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and coordinate team activities.
  • Analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving attitude, persistence, and determination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team of 3 members to maximize collections and reduce outstanding debt.
  • Deputise for the Credit Team Lead as required.
  • Reporting to the Credit Manager.
  • Set and achieve collection targets and objectives.
  • Foster a proactive debt collection approach.
  • Ensure team activities align with policies and procedures.
  • Support team members' growth through regular 1-2-1s.
  • Maintain effective customer messaging.
  • Communicate debtor reports and KPI information to senior management, escalating issues as needed.
  • Coordinate and deliver year-end audit activities with the Treasury Lead.
