Join a well-established Mechanical and Electrical Contractor with over 50 years of excellence in the construction industry. We are seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to work on both reactive and planned maintenance across a variety of settings including commercial and domestic environments.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct reactive maintenance tasks such as identifying and rectifying leaks, replacing faulty parts in plumbing systems, and troubleshooting issues with boilers and heating systems.
- Perform planned maintenance checks and services on systems including boilers, hot and cold water supplies, heating, and ventilation.
- Work closely with the Customer Care team to schedule post-project completion visits during the defect period.
- Provide high-quality maintenance and small works for local businesses.
- Ensure effective communication and reporting back to the office regarding material requirements and client updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years relevant experience in construction, specifically in installation or maintenance.
- NVQ in Plumbing – both domestic and commercial.
- NVQ in Heating and Ventilation.
- Gas Safe Qualified (Domestic as a minimum).
- Possession of a relevant trade CSCS skills card.
- Full UK Driver's License.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work respectfully and communicate effectively in client homes and offices.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, making informed decisions as needed.

Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000.
- Standard working hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with one hour for lunch.
