An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ACA / ACCA qualified Accounts Senior with 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice to join a well-established accountancy firm, offering excellent benefits.

As an Accounts Senior, you will deliver exceptional service to clients within your designated area and actively contribute to the growth of the practice with minimal supervision.

You will be responsible for:

  • Preparing client accounts and tax returns, ensuring compliance with HM Revenue & Customs
  • Advising on tax payable, payment deadlines, and preparing final paperwork
  • Liaising with clients to gather the necessary financial information, while offering proactive advice
  • Supporting Managers in tax planning, identifying opportunities to add value to clients
  • Assisting Partners and Managers with specific projects such as business planning and advisory matters
  • Monitoring your own job quality and meeting targets, exceeding them when possible
  • Participating in client seminars, including setup and attendance when required

What we are looking for:

  • At least 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice.
  • ACA / ACCA qualified.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts prep and accounting systems such as CCH, Xero, Sage, and Farmplan.
  • Able to complete personal tax returns accurately and efficiently.
