Architectural Technologist
Location: Northampton
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 38.75 per week, with flexible start and finish times.

A well-established, award-winning architectural practice is looking to recruit an experienced Architectural Technologist to join its head office in the Midlands. Role & Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Producing detailed working drawing packages.

  • Contributing to planning applications and other regulatory submissions.

  • Leading the detailed design process and coordinating design information.

  • Liaising with relevant authorities, including planning and building control.

  • Conducting design-stage risk assessments.

  • Administering contracts and project certifications.

  • Assessing building performance and producing maintenance management information.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • BSc Hons, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology.

  • Membership of CIAT or an equivalent professional body.

  • Minimum of 5 years' industry experience.

  • Strong knowledge and experience in Revit and BIM is highly desirable.

  • Experience with Cobie data is an advantage.

  • In-depth understanding of detailing and Building Regulations is essential.

  • Familiarity with NBS specifications.

  • Ability to work effectively within a team.

  • Strong communication and project management skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and design.
