- Responding to email queries and problems applicable to own competency level and escalating where necessary to relevant departmental manager.
- Liaising with colleagues internally and external companies in a professional manner.
- Reviewing quote requirements and requesting additional information if required.
- Reviewing asset plans of existing utilities and developers technical drawings.
- Reviewing Electricity Point of connection plans and offer letters.
- Reviewing Water terms and plans.
- Completing Water, Gas and Electricity network studies.
- Producing Multi Utility cost models and proposal letters in a timely manner.
- Reviewing and producing re-quotes and variations according to Developer requests.
- Providing regular updates to the Tendering Manager and Business Development Managers to meet a weekly priority list.
- Reviewing colleagues work so that constructive feedback can be provided.
- Chasing clients and updating trackers.
- Undertake the electronic filing regularly to ensure all correspondence is available and can be easily found.
- A basic understanding of utilities and tendering.- ideally
- Understanding of Microsoft office packages including Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD would be required.
- Good timekeeping.
- Organised.
- Accuracy and an eye for detail.
- Able to work as a team but also able to work off of your own initiative.
- Team player.
- Good communicator and listener.
- Able to solve problems.
- Previous experience in an Administration/office role would be required.
- Experience using AutoCAD would be required at a basic level.
- Previous experience in a Project Management role/environment would be useful.
