Pertemps are seeking a skilled Show Blaster to join a manufacturing company in based in Kidderminster. Working on a temporary to permanent basis, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for manufacturing and a desire to grow within the team. The successful candidate will be eager to contribute to a respected company while developing their skills in a supportive environment.
The Duties of a Shot Blaster:
- Set up and operate shot blasting equipment to prepare surfaces
- Inspect surfaces to determine the correct techniques and tools needed.
- Ensure all materials are finished to meet quality standards and specifications.
- Regularly inspect and maintain shot blasting equipment
- Work with the manufacturing team to achieve production targets.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations within the workplace.
The Requirements of a Shot Blaster:
- Previous experience as a Shot Blaster
- Strong understanding of surface preparation techniques and equipment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
