About the Role
Wyre Forest District Council is seeking a skilled HR Advisor to provide professional, customer-focused HR support to managers, employees, and partners. This role encompasses a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, absence management, policy development, and change management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive HR advice in line with policies, procedures, and employment law.
- Support recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
- Manage absence, disciplinary, and grievance cases.
- Assist in organisational changes, including restructuring and TUPE processes.
- Deliver HR training sessions and support staff learning and development.
- Promote employee wellbeing, health, and equality initiatives.
- Associate CIPD membership or equivalent HR experience.
- Proven experience in an HR advisory role.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- Ability to analyse data and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Commitment to confidentiality and a customer-focused approach.
