Daytime hours, 4 days per week: Monday - Thursday,39 hours per week

~ 28,000 pa

  • 13.37ph + Bonus (+ 864 pa) +salary review after 3-month probation

About the role:

SourceCo Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a market-leading European automotive OEM in their search for a Production Technician (Electrical) to join a 30-strong team of committed and professional Fitters and Technicians at their IRTE accredited base in Kidderminster.

This role is ideal for someone with prior experience of electrical fitting and wiring within automotive production or vehicle maintenance, who would be keen to build their technical knowledge and develop their career within the commercial vehicle manufacturing industry.

Required:

As a Technician you will need:

  • Professional and self-motivated attitude
  • Good organisational & time management skills
  • A desire to develop and learn
  • Experience with electrics, wiring, lighting, telematics, vehicle accessories, etc.
  • Practical understanding of using power tools(desirable)

Duties:

The duties of a Technician will include:

  • Supporting the Production Manager in developing a high standard of vehicles, reading drawings and wiring vehicles in accordance with the wiring diagrams / instructions.
  • Working in a timely manner producing finished products to build process deadlines
  • Monitoring, raising and recording issues during a build process
  • Actively capturing and recording wiring information to be standardised and used in future builds
  • Assisting with the preparations for vehicle inspections and testing
