We are seeking a qualified SEN Teacher (QTS required) to join a school that supports students with Autism, SEMH, trauma, sensory processing difficulties, and challenging behaviour. This role is available on a long-term or permanent basis for the right candidate.
Role Overview:
Plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons tailored to students with complex SEN needs.
Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Implement effective behaviour management strategies to support students with additional needs.
Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Regularly assess and adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning goals.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Previous SEN teaching experience is required.
Strong understanding of Autism, SEMH, trauma-informed practice, and sensory needs.
Ability to differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
