We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join our team, supporting children with complex and high SEN needs. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience working with children who have:
Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Trauma-related difficulties
Challenging behaviour
Non-verbal communication needs
About the Role:
Deliver tailored and engaging lessons to meet the diverse needs of our students.
Implement strategies to support behaviour management and emotional regulation.
Work closely with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Use innovative approaches to engage non-verbal students and those with communication barriers.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Proven experience working in an SEN setting with high-needs students.
Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and behaviour management.
A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to teaching.
