The role

We are now recruiting for a creative and experienced event professional operating at a senior level who is either an experienced Account Director, or an experienced Project Director who is interested in moving across to account management.  You will manage vital accounts on a day-to-day basis, working closely with the Business Development Director, although this is not a sales role.

A broad role, responsibilities include:

-          Client and account management

-          Overseeing and leading the delivery of virtual / hybrid and live events

-          Taking and interpreting briefs from both new and existing clients

-          Working with clients to understand what they are trying to achieve from the event

-          Creating proposals and pitching for business

-          Client management and communication including managing expectations

-          Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers

-          Managing multiple events and clients concurrently

-          Budget management and reconciliation

-          Leading and mentoring project teams and clients

The candidate

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and a passion for creating, managing and running large scale multiple events in either the luxury brand or automotive sector. You need to be self-motivated, comfortable working under pressure, have an adaptable attitude with extremely good communication skills and a sharp attention to detail in all written, creative and numerical work.

Experience in leading and mentoring project teams and clients is a must! 

Whilst a flexible approach to working from home is encouraged for some roles, this role will favour candidates who can commit to the majority of their working week in Oxfordshire based offices
