Hays are working with a local organisation to appoint a HR Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Your new role

  • Assist with talent management initiatives.
  • Provide daily performance management guidance to line managers.
  • Aid managers and team leaders in their leadership development through coaching and feedback.
  • Collaborate on employee engagement initiatives
  • Assist with selection processes
  • Design and facilitate training sessions and workshops.
  • Support the compensation management process, including salary reviews, payroll, and personnel cost forecasting.
  • Assist with UK benefits management.
  • Provide support for employee relations, manage complex absence cases, and act as an escalation point.
  • Deputise for the Senior HR Team when required.
  • Handle ad hoc projects as needed.

Experience you'll need to succeed

  • Degree or relevant qualification in HR or related subject
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment law
  • Recruitment
  • Handled complex ER cases
  • Design of HR policies in addition to interpreting and implementing these policies and procedures.
