My client is an industry leading and award-winning financial services organisation who operate on a global scale. They are headquartered in the UK and also have offices throughout Europe and the US.

The Role

As the Product Owner for Data and Business Intelligence you will lead other members of the team to provide focused backlog management and iteration planning.

This is a fast-paced and demanding role working with others to deliver the very best colleague experience and requires strong visionary qualities and ability to see the bigger picture. Liaising with key stakeholders from across the business is a vital aspect of the job.

The Product Owner is responsible for representing the customers voice, creating and owning a compelling product vision and providing clarity for the Development Team on the items to be worked.

About You

Must have proven experience in Product Management with a strong understanding of methodologies associated with Agile working and ideally be Scrum certified.

You will possess knowledge of every aspect of the product development life cycle and have experience in Product backlog management using DevOps and GIT or other similar systems. A high degree of organisational skills are required, especially when controlling the product backlog.

Must be able to develop strong and pragmatic relationships with business SMEs, to ensure that their expectations are managed and are fully appraised with progress and plans

A strong background in Data or Business Intelligence is proffered including experience of querying, analysing and reporting on data, from multiple systems and sources.

And financial services experience would be a bonus.
