Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Process Technician to work for an operations organisation in Banbury, Oxfordshire

Role: Process Technician

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 (£40,000 after a successful probation)

Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire

Hours: 3 on 3 off days to nights (07:00 - 19:00 to 19:00 - 07:00)

Key Responsibilities of the Process Technician:

  • Liaises with Shift Leader ensuring achievement of Mould Change requirements for each shift.
  • Rectifies processing problems using fault finding skills and documents accordingly to Ensure processes followed.
  • Sets tool following correct standard sequence.
  • Carries out "First off" process ensuring parts produced are of suitable standard.
  • Safely transports moulds between tool racking and machines as required. Is responsible for safe assessment of lifting tackle and equipment and maintenance of correct tagging.
  • Ensures housekeeping standards are maintained.
  • Completes paperwork relevant to Mould Change and setting in a timely and accurate manner.

About you:

  • Conversant with injection moulding processes and technically qualified in the operating of Injection moulding equipment and ancillaries, including ATM Robotics.
  • Extensive knowledge of high-volume manufacturing processes.
  • Good basic engineering and pipe fitting skills
  • Basic knowledge of Sepro 6 axis and 3 axis robots an advantage.
