This position is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive individual to join our Finance Team. This role plays a pivotal part in managing our purchase ledger, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, as well as liaise with external suppliers. The ideal candidate will be a confident self-starter who can prioritise their workload.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of the companys purchase ledger
Process all purchase invoices matching, checking, and coding
Process all staff expenses
Process all company credit card transactions
Respond to supplier queries and variances and liaise with suppliers as required
Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details and payment terms
Assist in the preparation of ad-hoc payments, foreign payments, and BACS payment runs
Reconciliation of supplier invoices to supplier statements
Filing invoices
Monitor GBP petty cash and foreign petty cash
Assist in month-end procedures to ensure that month-end deadlines are met
Essential Skills:
Excel and Outlook
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload
Desirable Skills:
Experience in using accounts payable software packages
Experience with an integrated ERP system, such as Epicor
Usage of expense management systems such as Expensify
