Skills required for Assistant Purchasing Manager:
- At least 5 years of experience in an engineering/manufacturing purchasing environment
- Expertise in APQP, PPAP, TS-16949, cost tracking, and quotation analysis
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Highly proficient in Excel and SAP
- Ability to manage supplier relationships and drive cost-saving initiatives
- Full UK driving license and flexibility to travel
