Our client, a large manufacturer based in Ayrshire, is looking for the services of a shift supervisor (manufacturing) on their site which is equipped with a manufacturing line that has state-of-the-art technology.Job DescriptionReporting to the Production Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join an ambitious expanding business. The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for the production operations and quality standards in the manufacturing of their product.Responsibilities* Ensure quality control systems and checks are applied* Direct responsibility for people management of the team - recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management* Drive a culture of continuous improvement amongst the team* Responsible for health, safety, and wellbeing of personnel* Ensure documentation relating to the product is accurate and loading is accurate* Manage overtime, timekeeping, and attendance of the team* Liaise with maintenance to ensure tasks are completed* Maximise throughput of all materials efficiently.
