Business Development Manager

Our cleint is committed to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction, and we are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team and drive growth in the Glasgow area.

Position Overview:The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with key clients, and driving sales growth within the Glasgow area. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the construction industry and a proven track record in business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in the Glasgow area.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing our products and services.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential opportunities and threats.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and performance against targets.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of the construction market, products, and services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Glasgow area as required.
