Our client, a leader in their sector, are currently looking for a Pump and Monitoring Equipment Service Technician to join their highly valued team on a full-time basis.

This Company are continuing to grow at an impressive rate due to their excellent reputation and trusted expertise in their field. They offer a number of products and services across their many divisions and are currently looking for someone who shares their passion and drive for the Industry.

This is an exciting time for the company and the right candidate for the role will need to be enthusiastic, forward thinking and personable with the drive to hit the floor running in order to take full advantage of the opportunities available to them.

Some of the services offered within the division are Ground sourcing, Pumps, Water Treatment, well Drilling and Probing. Previous experience within all of these areas is preferred although not essential.

You will be part of a team who all understand the importance of working together to ensure a high standard of work is delivered. You will be given support, training and the correct tools to carry out your role efficiently and effectively.

Pump and Monitoring Equipment Service Technician Role and Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered on-site
  • Carry out effective communications with the client and administration team
  • Ensure the company meets its obligations and adheres to guidelines and regulations laid down by the professional bodies they subscribe to.
  • Work closely with other engineers and provide support and training to more junior members of the team.
  • Responsible for keeping the pump service and electrical preparation workshop areas clean, tidy and well organised
  • Responding to requests from co-workers to procure and prepare equipment
  • Ensure all aspects of work and process are carried out in line with Health and Safety guidelines
  • Liaising with Managers to improve yard operations and facilities.
  • Ensure maintenance schedules are adhered to and that all plant, equipment and materials that leave’s the yard is clean, well presented, in good working order and to specification at all times.
  • Unloading and dispatch of equipment to and from site
  • Cleaning, maintaining and storing equipment and materials

Pump and Monitoring Equipment Service Technician Skills and Experience:

  • A Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent
  • A drive and enthusiasm to grab hold of opportunities
  • At least 2 years of experience working within the sector
  • Relevant qualifications are desirable such as Strong mechanical and electrical engineering background. - BS7671:2008 & 17th edition wiring regulations qualification would be highly advantageous
  • Awareness of electrical and mechanical safety and hazards.
  • Previous experience in pump servicing required
  • Basic electronics, instrumentation, and telemetry knowledge would be highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills and a practical mindset.
