The Role

As a Private Client Legal Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting their busy Private Client team. You will assist in delivering high-quality services to their clients while ensuring the smooth operation of administrative and procedural tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting fee earners with case management, drafting correspondence, and preparing legal documents.
  • Conducting client communications, including responding to inquiries and updating them on case progress.
  • Managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and organising client appointments.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal processes and maintaining accurate file records.
  • Supporting the preparation of wills, probate applications, trusts, and other private client matters.
  • Providing administrative support for billing and invoicing.

About You

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably within a Private Client team.
  • Strong knowledge of wills, probate, trusts, and estate planning processes.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Professional and client-focused attitude.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and legal case management software.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in a Legal 500 firm or similar high-calibre environment.
  • Legal qualifications such as a CILEx Certificate or equivalent.
