Audit Senior

Audit Senior - DudleySalary: Up to £45KA well-established accountancy firm is looking for an experienced Audit Senior to join their team. This role has opened due to continued growth and will focus on delivering high-quality audit services to clients across a variety of sectors, particularly manufacturing and distribution. Key responsibilities will include planning and executing audits, supervising junior team members, and liaising with clients to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA-qualified professional with broad audit experience. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and the ability to work with a diverse portfolio of clients. Relevant audit experience is the key priority. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Review financial statements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Supervise and support junior team members, providing coaching and feedback.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact.
• Identify areas for process improvement and provide recommendations.
• Ensure audits are completed within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality service.
• Stay up to date with industry developments and changes in regulations.

Candidate Attributes and Skills:

• ACA or ACCA qualified with strong audit experience.
• Experience working across a variety of sectors, with a focus on manufacturing and distribution.
• Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Ability to lead a team and manage multiple engagements effectively.
