My client is an organisation based in Dudley, and the successful candidate will be joining a friendly, close knit team. The are fully onsite, and can offer the successful candidate a flexible approach to working, i.e. with working hours.
Description
The Finance Officer will report directly to the Head of Finance and duties will include but are not limited to:
- Being responsible for the Purchase Ledger function, posting invoices and matching to the purchase orders.
- Preparation of BACS payments
- Authorising new supplier accounts and maintaining existing supplier accounts details
- To be proactive in the reconciliation of supplier statements
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly VAT returns
- Processing staff expenses
- Processing other financial transactions to include journals, credit card expenditure, income postings, cashbook receipts and payments, and bank reconciliations.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have demonstrated experience working in finance
- Have experience working within a team
- Understand general accounting principles
- Be competent of Micrososft Excel
- Have excellent interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)
- Be available to start on short notice
Job Offer
The successful candidate can expect a starting salary c£25-27,000 + role spread across 40 weeks per year + flexible working hours + onsite parking + an immediate start + permanent position
