Mitchell Adam are thrilled to be recruiting for an exciting Management Accountant role situated in the heart of the Dudley area. This is a business with a dynamic future ahead that is looking to expand their current financial team with the addition of a strong Management Accountant. The successful applicant will need to be confident and creative as this business will provide you with the opportunity to make this role your own, with the chance to pursue ad hoc projects.
An integral aspect of this role is the liaison with senior stakeholders. In order to have success with this you will need to be a confident communicator that is comfortable presenting information to all stakeholder levels and backgrounds. Success within this part of the role will lead you to having visibility amongst senior leaders which will in turn increase your chances of internal progression.
This role will provide you with exposure to duties such as: cash flow forecasting, in depth analysis, and the production of full management accounts whilst liaising with both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Your typical day to day will consist of these duties in addition to any ad hoc tasks you may be completing and ensuring accurate and timely processing of month end. Showing success and competency with these aspects of the role will open conversations with the senior leadership about determining a progression path for you.
What you'll need:
- Have prior experience in a role that has given you month end and management accounting experience.
- Be actively working towards completing your chosen professional qualification, the business will offer support with this.
- Be outgoing and extroverted, having these qualities will go a long way in helping ensure you are maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Be proficient in Excel with the ability to manage large sums of data, this is important as this is a high turnover business and you will need to hit the ground running when you start.
