Commercial Administrator

Location: Kingswinford

Pay/Salary: 12.02/hour - 12.98/hour, 25,000 - 27,000/annum, no overtime

Working Hours/Shift Pattern: 08:30 - 17:30, 1 hour lunch, 40 hours/week, flexible on start time, can 8am - 9:30am as long as 40 hours completed/week

Type of Employment: 12-month temporary only contract - Maternity Cover

Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Place order requisitions received from other branches
  • Receive order updates from suppliers
  • Advise branches to use different suppliers as required
  • Commercial advice given to branches on purchasing and supply
  • 'Hand hold' orders through system
  • Expediting orders with suppliers
  • Admin completed to put supplier info on to system
  • Chase up outstanding orders
  • Act as key point of contact between key suppliers and branches
  • Some imports and general admin paperwork involved
  • Clearing invoices
  • General purchasing admin
  • Odd ad-hoc project-based tasks- special requests

Essential skills / experience / qualifications:

  • Essential - basics of operating a computer in the office
  • Office administration experience
  • Basic excel skills - open the file, basic data entry, read the file, save the file
