Strong proficiency in financial modeling and the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders are essential. Applicants must have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience and advanced Excel skills, with ERP experience being a plus.

Gleeson Recruitment Group are working in partnership with one of the Midlands' most well-known brand names, whose luxury products are recognisable on a global level. They are looking to appoint a Senior Finance Analyst into their product development team, in an exciting and newly-created role.

As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial insights and strategy to support business growth and operational excellence. This position blends traditional finance responsibilities with strategic business partnering, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring your contributions directly impact global success.

Key responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to provide insights into business performance and drive informed decision-making.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting efforts to align financial targets with strategic goals.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Operations to provide financial expertise and support strategic initiatives.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports and KPIs to senior management, highlighting trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes and systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Contribute to special projects and initiatives as required, leveraging financial expertise to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications and experience required for the position:

  • A recognised accountancy qualification - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably within the luxury goods or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven business partnering experience with senior stakeholders
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of influencing business decisions through data-driven insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
