Responsibilities:

As the Bookkeeper/Semi-Senior, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing essential support to the accounting team. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Raising invoices and entering purchases onto client accounts with precision and attention to detail.
  • Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Preparing weekly payment run reports to manage outgoing payments efficiently.
  • Assisting in setting up payments for suppliers and processing payroll with diligence.
  • Undertaking general accounts administration duties to maintain a smooth financial operation.
  • Updating and maintaining client details on databases, ensuring data integrity.
  • Providing valuable admin support to the accounting team, contributing to seamless operations.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, the ideal Bookkeeper/Semi-Senior should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Previous experience in bookkeeping or related financial roles, showcasing strong numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and tools to manage financial transactions.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with the willingness to assist the team as needed.
