Mechanical Supervisor Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor with a strong background in both commercial and domestic environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing mechanical installations, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring all projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard. As the Mechanical Supervisor, you will lead a team of technicians and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage mechanical installations and maintenance works across commercial and domestic sites.
• Lead a team of skilled engineers and technicians, ensuring all work is carried out efficiently.
• As the Mechanical Supervisor, ensure all projects adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily operations, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Monitor progress, address issues on-site, and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Prepare and manage job reports, maintaining excellent communication with stakeholders.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure high-quality work standards are maintained at all times.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor in both commercial and domestic settings.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including heating, ventilation, and plumbing.
• Relevant mechanical qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Gas Safe Certification or similar (preferred).
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Skills Required:

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in both commercial and domestic environments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• As a Mechanical Supervisor, you must be detail-oriented, ensuring high standards of workmanship.
• Experience with budgeting and cost control in project management.
• Ability to troubleshoot and provide hands-on solutions when needed.
