Edward Mann are currently partnering with a leading International Media Group based in Leeds wo are recruiting for a Senior Management Accountant on a 12 month FTC basis to cover a maternity leave.
- Hybrid - Monday & Wednesday in office, plus one other day every other week
- Location - Leeds City Centre
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts including commentary & analysis
- Report financial results to statutory & EMEA teams for group performance
- Ensure deadlines are consistently met, month-end close is on WD4
- Use multiple systems concurrently for reporting
- Monitor WIP balances and coordinate with billing team
- Deal with audit queries as and when required
This position will supervise 2x Finance Apprentices, who have recently joined the business and will support them in their day-to-day work as well as when they embark on their CIMA studies.
Desirables:
- Studying towards or Qualified in a relevant accounting qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA etc.)
- Available to start quickly
- Experience overseeing/supervising team members
