Job Purpose
- Lead a significant and diverse portfolio of tax clients.
- Oversee the deliverables of junior tax staff, providing constructive mentorship and nurturing talent through knowledge sharing.
- Champion professional development for junior staff, inspiring the team around you.
- Preparation of tax computations, including complex matters.
- Provide sound technical knowledge across tax work, offering trusted advisory.
- Work closely with Partners to support the firm’s strategic direction, networking and scoping for new business opportunities.
- Build trusted and long-lasting client relationships, being their go-to senior advisor.
- Set an example as a natural leader.
- Provide tax support to other departments across the firm.

The Successful Applicant
- Qualified with extensive tax experience within practice.
- Previous experience overseeing and motivating a team.
- Sound working knowledge of technical tax matters.
- An up-to-date understanding of UK accounting standards.
- Excellent IT skills and knowledge.
- Natural leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to lead a team with effective project management.
