The Role

As Marketing Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy with a focus on growth channels, particularly PPC and SEO. You will lead a high-performing marketing team, collaborate closely with sales and product teams, and report directly to the board.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies, focusing on PPC and lead generation.
  • Oversee digital campaigns, optimising customer acquisition and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to ensure marketing strategies support revenue goals.
  • Lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering creativity and performance.
  • Report to the board on campaign performance and key metrics.
  • Manage the marketing budget to maximize ROI.
  • Monitor marketing metrics such as CPL, CAC, and LTV, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Utilise marketing tools like Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, and other relevant platforms.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Digital Marketing Expertise: Proficient in PPC, Google Ads, paid social media, email marketing, SEO, SEM, email marketing, and CRO.
  • SaaS Experience: Proven success in a B2B marketing role within the SaaS industry.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Experience leading and growing a marketing team.
  • Board-Level Reporting: Ability to present data-driven insights at the board level.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
  • Budget Management: Experience in managing marketing budgets for maximum ROI.
  • Private Equity Cycle Experience: Involvement in the PE process with a solid understanding of investor-required marketing metrics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with 5 years in leadership.
  • Expertise in scaling SaaS businesses through digital channels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
