We are excited to share that we are working with a highly reputable growing law firm based in Leeds. They are looking for a legal cashier to join their expanding finance department and will report into the Head of Cashier.
Key responsibilities:
- Updating office, client and nominal account ledgers daily.
- Processing data of private client, Legal Aid and Legal Help bills.
- Allocating payments on account of legal aid fees and disbursements.
- Debit & credit card payments and processing paperwork for same.
- Banking including reconciliation in accordance with SRA accounts rules.
- Cover for other members of the Cashiers team.
Required Experience/Skills
- Ideally you will have 1+ years experience of Legal Cashier/Finance
- Knowledge of the Solicitors accounts rules is desirable
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
