Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant:

Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School team in Leeds. The role will include supporting students, providing assistance in the classroom and working closely with educators to enhance the learning experience for children.

Requirements:

-Experience working within the education sector

-Level 3 certificate in childcare

- Strong communication skills to liaise with teachers, parents, and external professionals

- Understanding of special education practices and strategies for working with diverse learning needs

- Understanding of KS2 SATS and the ability to support with this

Responsibilities: - Support teachers in delivering tailored educational activities for students with special needs- Assist in implementing individual education plans and monitoring progress- Provide one-to-one mentoring and tutoring for students requiring additional support- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students- Aid in managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe and supportive setting for learning
