The City & Capital team are currently representing a highly respected & fast growing company based in Horsforth (Leeds) who are looking to appoint an organised, proactive & ambitious Personal Assistant (PA) to their growing mergers & acquisitions department, at a genuinely exciting time.

Our client is achieving amazing growth and this is a new role created within the company to support that. Our client supports financial services clients that are either looking to grow or sell their businesses.

This will be a diverse role so the ideal individual must be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating exceptional time management & prioritisation skills in the process. As well as the traditional PA duties that underpin this role, you will be key to the departments ongoing success, by supporting the needs of the companies clients and playing a key role in the companies continued growth.

This is also a role that comes with a lot of opportunity to develop and grow within in line with the companies own growth. They operate a very strong and proven promote from within policy. This why ambition is key!

Furthermore, our client operates a 9 day fortnight! This is a full time role with full time hours, however in each 2 week period you will work 5 days week one, and only 4 days week two. Perfect for that work life balance!

Personal Assistant

Duties include (but may not be limited to):

  • Act as a key point of contact for business clients and contacts
  • Oversee department administration and filing to an exceptional standard
  • Project management support
  • Assisting with the upkeep of the company CRM and data
  • Assisting with the preparation of marketing materials and activity
  • Assisting the management & completion of key business projects
  • Drafting e mails and responding to correspondence
  • Supporting the progress of sales activity through client contact
  • Assisting with event organisation & planning
  • Arranging meetings, creating agendas and taking minutes
  • Diary planning & scheduling appointments
  • Supporting the Managing Director with the development & delivery of OKRs
  • Creating and optimising company reports departmentally and for the board
  • Booking travel, accommodation and other necessities
  • Supporting business procurement & handling expenses
  • Supplier management
  • Undertaking any personal requirements on behalf of the MD or CEO
  • Working collaboratively across the group to support other PAs & Directors

The Ideal Individual

The ideal individual for this role must have previous experience in a similar role.

  • Previous experience as a Team Assistant, PA or Executive Assistant preferred
  • Experience working within any financial services role considerable
  • Exceptional skills across the full Microsoft package
  • Highly organised, excellent time management, strong prioritisation skills
  • Capable of keep a number of plates spinning at any one time
  • Works proactively, seeks ideas, outcomes and resolutions independently
  • Happy to roll up sleeves and tackle any task to support the business objective
  • Not afraid to challenge the status quo & to offer ideas or pushback
  • Ambitious and keen to grow with the firm

The ideal personality for this position will be someone who loves variety in their role and is happy working in a fast paced and growing environment. You will be able to engage stakeholders into key projects and will be flexible in terms of taking on any duty that supports the need of the team.

On Offer

Our client is ideally looking to pay between c£25k - c£35k as basic salary of this role, which will be entirely relevant to experience, as you would expect. This will be complemented by a benefits package & the potential to earn annual bonus, based on performance.

This role would be based in our clients Horsforth offices each week with the option to move to hybrid working (3 days in office) once training is complete and probation is passed.

There is a reasonable amount of urgency to fill this position due to our clients exciting growth, as outlined.
