Menzies Distribtuion are looking to recruit a Stock Controller based from our Normanton depot.  This role manages & supports an effective operational process, which ensures accurate integrity of the Customer / Suppliers stock and data input. Also to ensure that all operational processes and compliances are adhered to, supports the movement in excess of 15,000 pallets per week.

The details:

Shift: Monday to Friday, 10AM - 7PM

Hours: 42.5 hours per week.

Location: Normanton, WF6

Full-time, permanent

Salary: £25,882.48 p/a

Stock Controller duties:

  • Report issues with stock & maintain accurate recordings
  • Maintenance and management of WMS
  • Participate in daily, weekly + monthly stock takes, adhering to customer & control procedure
  • Wastage reporting
  • Maintain a safe working environment which complies with all aspects of the company H&S policies
  • Operation of MHE
  • Pallet Control / Perpetual Inventory
  • Strong system control, ensuring adjustments are fully understood and reported
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing suppliers & ensuring that staff deal with all stock queries quickly and efficiently
