They offer flexible and agile working options, along with a strong emphasis on maintaining a healthy work-life balance.They are particularly seeking confident, proactive individuals who are ready to dive right in.With a longstanding and loyal client base, the private client team cover the broad remit of matters including Wills, Trusts, Probate, Court of Protection matters and Powers of Attorney.The candidateOur clients are seeking an ambitious and dynamic individual who will thrive with a diversified workload. You'll be a part of a well-known team that provides outstanding work and a fulfilling career.The chosen applicant will be recently qualified, interested in working with private clients, and ideally have some experience in the field. Additionally, through networking and business development, they will be expected to play a major part in creating and expanding the senior client offering.You will receive a comprehensive and diverse caseload consisting of Wills, Probate, and Power of Attorney matters in exchange. You will also have the chance to study for the STEP tests and receive insightful mentoring, support, and supervision to help you advance professionally.The roleThe role will involve a broad range of Private Client work, specifically in matters relating to older and vulnerable clients, particularly in connection with the management of their financial affairs, as well as the preparation of Wills and Trusts for all types of clients. Tasks will include:
  1. With supervision, manage a caseload of wills and estate cases.
  2. Assist clients with the full range of private client matters, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, Administration of Estates, Court of Protection and Trusts.
  3. Provide legal advice and support to clients.
  4. Work closely with members of the team and receive valuable mentorship and supervision to support your professional development.
  5. Maintain an empathetic and understanding manner when dealing with elderly or vulnerable clients.
  6. Deliver exceptional client care to the firm’s longstanding and loyal client base.
  7. Assist senior fee earners on more complex cases as part of professional development.
  8. Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations.
