Legal plays an important role in protecting the Group's reputation by helping to future-proof the organisation through robust legal risk and issue advisory. Responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice to senior management and all businesses and functions, the team offers a diverse range of legal skills, jurisdictional experience and practice specialisms across all countries and territories in which our businesses operate.

In this role your work will include:

* Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. Advising on emerging technology risks and contracting approach.* Involvement in AI Programs and Regulatory change projects.* Specialist advisory work, working in teams, to enable new technologies whilst supporting the management of new and emerging risks, including in AI, cyber and innovation. * Supporting stakeholders with ongoing contract management, including vendor management issues and major incidents.* Continuous improvement of the way we work to keep us 'fit for the future', working in teams on process improvements, knowledge, and reporting tools.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

* Qualified Lawyer* Strong background in drafting commercial contracts in the Digital space.* Financial services or in house advisory experience * Experience in cross border, data privacy and outsourcing

This role is based in 33 Park Row, Leeds, LS1 5HD.
