Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an established FMCG business in Leeds who are seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead and enhance its Quality Assurance function. This is a confidential search for a strategic leader who can ensure product excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement within a dynamic environment.
As QA Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance policies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and leading a dedicated team to maintain high standards. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills and experience in quality systems such as BRC and ISO.The role will be hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.Â
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage quality assurance policies and procedures to align with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee quality control across production, packaging, and distribution.
- Conduct supplier quality audits and ensure compliance with agreed specifications.
- Work cross-functionally with procurement and supply chain to resolve quality issues.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality concerns.
- Manage internal and external audits, including regulatory and customer inspections.
- Monitor quality metrics and report insights to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the quality function.
- Oversee customer complaint handling and ensure effective resolution.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience in a QA role within an FMCG environment - ideally retail
- Strong knowledge of quality systems and regulatory standards.
- Experience with BRC and ISO compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in quality management software and reporting tools.
