Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an established FMCG business in Leeds who are seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead and enhance its Quality Assurance function. This is a confidential search for a strategic leader who can ensure product excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement within a dynamic environment.

As QA Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance policies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and leading a dedicated team to maintain high standards. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills and experience in quality systems such as BRC and ISO.The role will be hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage quality assurance policies and procedures to align with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee quality control across production, packaging, and distribution.
  • Conduct supplier quality audits and ensure compliance with agreed specifications.
  • Work cross-functionally with procurement and supply chain to resolve quality issues.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality concerns.
  • Manage internal and external audits, including regulatory and customer inspections.
  • Monitor quality metrics and report insights to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the quality function.
  • Oversee customer complaint handling and ensure effective resolution.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a QA role within an FMCG environment - ideally retail
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems and regulatory standards.
  • Experience with BRC and ISO compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and reporting tools.
