Job Title: Personal Development Tutor Location: West Yorkshire Contract Type: Temporary - Full Time Rate: £25 - £28 per hour Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Personal Development Tutor for a Further Education College in West Yorkshire. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting students' personal growth, helping them develop essential life skills, resilience, and confidence to succeed both academically and in their future careers. This is a full time role to start on 24th February for on going cover. To deliver the College tutorial Personal Development Programme, through development and facilitation of group sessions with students. To provide effective personal development opportunities for students in a group setting to support success and progression, including: - Preparation for employment through work based sessions and work placement preparation - Facilitating a safe space for open debate and discussion. - Offering a range of guest speakers to share lived experience linked to general PD and specific industries - Oversee the documentation of work experience placements and work preparation through online tracking software - Delivering a responsive and current personal development programme - Liaising closely with relevant staff in supporting students identified as at risk The curriculum encompasses a wide range of themes including: - Personal, Social, Health and Economic education (PSHE) - Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) - Social, Moral, Spiritual & Cultural Education (SMSC) - Careers Education - Citizenship Education Requirements: - A passion for personal development and a commitment to student success. - Previous experience in teaching, coaching, or mentoring in an educational or similar setting. - Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. - The ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds. - Knowledge of personal development frameworks and relevant educational standards. - A relevant teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one Candidates must also have a current DBS If this could be of interest please contact Callum Boyle on or
