They are searching for a Civil Clerk to join their dedicated team! In this role, you'll play a vital part in the success of the organisation by ensuring effective management of case files and fostering communication with various stakeholders.

Job Title: Legal Clerk

Location: Leeds City Centre

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am - 6pm

Key responsibilities include:

  • Utilising case management systems to log all fast track matters.
  • Sending papers to counsel and taking bookings for counsel from insurers and panel solicitors via phone, while discussing appropriate fees for various hearings, including Trials and small claims.
  • Chasing up paperwork from solicitors and managing diaries efficiently.
  • Organising couriers for counsel and checking court lists daily.
  • Collaborating with personal injury clerks to manage the diary and allocate work effectively.
  • Logging in and dispatching outcome reports to insurers and panel solicitors, ensuring timely communication.
  • Liaising with Legal Advocates for small claims hearings and producing weekly summaries for insurer client fees.
  • Attending meetings with the Chief Clerk as needed and working across additional Chambers locations.
