- Manage a caseload of damage claims ranging from £100 to £1m+ in a timely manner within the Delegations of Authority.
- Establish key customer contacts and manage down their debt.
- Use IT applications including Solcase, GIS, Eam Spatial, OMS, and Oracle.
- Apply and understand the principles of relevant legislation and guidance notes when handling damage claims.
- Handle technical and legal queries and disputes.
- Identify problematic claims and determine the best course of action.
- Understand the costing of damage repairs and associated overheads.
- Apply strong customer service skills when handling disputes/queries.
- Support the claims admin team and other litigation coordinators.
- Progress claims into litigation for resolution.
- Work closely with external legal service providers.
- Meet with third parties or their representatives to resolve liability and/or quantum issues.

- Essential: Minimum 2 A Levels grade C or above, OR NVQ Level 3, OR ONC in Business Management; knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; teamwork experience; proven written and spoken skills; customer service experience.
- Desirable: Previous claims, insurance, or legal experience.
