We are looking for an experienced Logistics Controller with experience of working in-house. This is a busy role for a growing team at a well established, global business.We are looking for someone with experience of managing a high volume of shipments across the UK and Europe - LCL & Parcel. We will consider candidates with experience in Domestic, Parcel, Imports or Exports.This is a hybrid role with 1-2 days per week in the office, or more if you'd prefer. The company is incredible flexible, with lots of autonomy and a focus on driving an good work life balance.Main duties to include:

  • Booking transport for a range of shipments, B2B and B2C
  • Keeping customers up to date with any challenges or changes to the delivery schedule
  • Managing carriers across UK and Europe, ensuring the best possible service levels and pricing
  • Produce and submit invoices
  • Ensure correct documentation has been received from freight forwarders
  • Liaise with Warehouse Managers and keep them up to date with delivery schedules
  • Liaise with business customers and build relationships
  • Manage a small amount of Imports and Exports

We are looking for:

  • Experience of working in Logistics
  • Experience in Domestic, Import or Export
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • A problem solver who uses their initiative to overcome challenges
  • Someone who is organised and can work in a fast paced role

  • 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
