The Corporate Utility & Energy Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing the organisation’s utility and energy operations, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective consumption of energy across all properties managed by the facilities team. This role requires ensuring the smooth onboarding of new properties while maintaining compliance with energy regulations and sustainability goals. The position involves collaboration with multiple departments, external suppliers, and service providers to optimise utility usage and manage contracts effectively.
Key Responsibilities:-
Oversee and manage the organisation’s utility and energy operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and sustainability objectives.

Coordinate the onboarding of new properties, ensuring utility setup is compliant, efficient, and cost-effective.

Develop and implement strategies to optimise energy consumption and reduce costs across managed properties.

Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, performance tracking, and issue resolution.

Monitor and analyse energy data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

Ensure compliance with corporate energy policies, government regulations, and industry standards.

Collaborate with internal teams including finance, procurement, and facilities management to streamline processes and achieve energy efficiency targets.

Prepare reports on energy consumption, cost-saving initiatives, and regulatory compliance for senior management.

Support sustainability initiatives by identifying and implementing renewable energy and energy efficiency projects.
