Proven Planning Manager with experience of working on major rail programmes required for an initial 15 month contract in Leeds. Hybrid working is offered but there will be a need to travel to Manchester and York when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing planning and scheduling services to support a major rail infrastructure programme
- Taking the lead on project scheduling, coordination, and stakeholder management
- Conducting periodic programme reviews and maintaining schedules
- Integrating risk management into scheduling processes
- Generating and presenting reports to ensure projects stay on track
Job Requirements:
- Experience of working on major rail projects in a planning management capacity
- Proficiency in motivating and leading planning teams
- Knowledge of NEC4 schedule contractual requirements
- Experience working with technical engineering, construction, and access disciplines
- Ability to use and operate P6 Loadspring database, including creating and managing security privileges
Other Details:
- This is a contract position for 15 months
- Based in Leeds, with travel to York and Manchester as needed
