Hays Specialist recruitment are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join an ambitious and growing public sector financial services organisation based in Leeds. You will be reporting to the Head of Change and will be part of an expanding change team.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be responsible for providing project management to a range of key strategic projects within the business, ensuring all stakeholders are supported and key milestones delivered. You will be working within the organisation's project management methodology, ensuring agreed project governance is in place and delivered. You will be creating, maintaining, and tracking plans, ensuring all project participants are clear on roles, responsibilities, scope, and timescales.
You will be liaising with project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, adequate resources applied and identifying risks where appropriate. You will also bring project management best practice to the team.
What you'll need to succeed
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
- Knowledge of project governance
- Experience of project management in complex organisations
- Track record of delivering key strategic and business change projects
- Experience of senior stakeholder management
- Financial services experience is essential
- Effective organisational skills and attention to detail is required.
