Title: IT Buyer / Vendor Manager
Location: Leeds, hybrid working
Salary & Package: £35,000 - £43,000 + benefits
Sea Globa are delighted to be partnering with a leading business in their field who are looking to appoint an IT Buyer / Vendor Manager to join their busy procurement hub. The role is a new role that has been created due to the team being flat out over the recent months, and they are looking for an energetic professional to join the business where no two days are the same!
The role will work with the Senior IT Procurement Manager & Senior Buyer, who have been with the business a number of years and really know it inside out. As a business they are growing and have a track record of promoting from within, in turn giving lots of scope for progression!
Role & Responsibilities
- Work within the Procurement team, supporting the Senior Procurement Manager and wider procurement team
- Act as the primary point of contact with IT Suppliers, ensuring existing relationships are both developed and maintained
- Lead purchase order management, ensuring that process is both timely and accurate
- Assist with the negotiation of supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards
- Prepare regular reports on vendor performance, procurement activities, and cost savings for senior management
Experience & Requirements
- Ideally will need to have experience working within IT procurement / vendor management
- Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same
- Will be able to demonstrate experience of working with suppliers and building relationships
