- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Process sales and purchases invoices, credit notes and expenses
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts
- Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax filings
- Manage payroll and employee expenses (payroll is processed externally by the accountant)
- Monitor cash flow and financial transactions
- Assist with budgeting and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations
- Liaise with accountants and external stakeholders
- Use the company’s ERP system accounting software to streamline processes
- Manage emails and queries
- Ability to turn complex data into understandable form.
- Competent in using accounting and office software packages, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Competent in managing financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems.
- Excellent technical accounting knowledge.
- Excellent skills in providing and interpreting financial information.
- Thorough and methodical attention to detail.
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise.
