Treasury Assistant | Syston, Leicestershire | Hybrid | Permanent

Macildowie is working with a well-established business based in Syston, Leicestershire, to recruit a Treasury Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team in a hybrid role, offering flexibility with three days in the office and two remote. You will be needing to travel 1 day per week to a site based in Coventry.

As a Treasury Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Treasury Team Leader with bank account reconciliations, cashbook postings, and investigating unreconciled items. You will be a central point of contact for financial control, reconciliations, and depot banking, ensuring processes are efficient and accurate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with bank reconciliations and cashbook postings
  • Investigate and resolve unreconciled items efficiently
  • Manage queries from banks, depots, and internal teams
  • Monitor and clear the central Treasury email inbox
  • Support the audit process for interim and year-end audits
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Provide additional support across the wider team as required

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in a Treasury function or similar financial role
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate financial transactions
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with different teams
