Candidate who are Diploma qualified will be considered who may not have direct Paraplanning experience.

NJR are currently representing a well-established Financial Planning practice who, due to their continued growth are now seeking an experienced and technically minded Paraplanner to join their team. Our Client operates an open and family culture and work from modern state of the art offices. The successful candidate you will be responsible for writing bespoke Suitability reports and providing technical research services to the Managing Director. You will ensure that the preparation of advice for clients (both internal and external) is of the highest quality and delivered in an efficient manner; whilst mitigating any risks to the organisation as well as assisting with the achievement of Business targets.

Responsibilities

" Providing full Paraplanning/Administrative support, to a busy team of Financial Planners, including the preparation of suitability reports and supporting documentation, submitting new business and other transaction requests to providers.

" Regular engagement with clients via telephone, email, and letter

" You will need to be proficient in understanding and identifying possible client outcomes/solutions, derived from detailed information recorded in Know Your Client (KYC) documents

" Collect quantitative detailed information required to compile a Financial Plan.

" Ensure that all compliance paperwork is present

" Confirm client risk profile is determined

" Identify and obtain the information necessary to compile financial cash flow forecast

" Establish and build strong relationships with clients and attend client meetings with Planner if required.

" Update cash flow models in preparation for review meetings

The successful candidate will need to have proven experience working as a Paraplanner - preferably within an IFA environment with knowledge of Investment and Pension products. Ideally working towards Level 4 Diploma. You will be having excellent Microsoft and Excel skills solid communication and interpersonal skills.
