Hours / Shift Pattern: 8 Hour Shifts. Monday to Friday // 8:30am - 5:30pm

Overview:
The Flavour Network have partnered with a rapidly growing food manufacturing
business to recruit an experienced Administrator for their team. As the Procurement
Assistant / Office Administrator you will play a key part in managing procurement,
logistics, and general office duties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and
supporting various team members with project work. As the successful candidate you
will ideally be from an FMCG or Food Industry background.


Key Responsibilities for the Procurement Assistant:

  • Support the Procurement Manager in sourcing raw materials and packaging as required.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts, reconciliations, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate raw material and packaging cost records in the system.
  • Request logistics quotes for new customer requirements and manage supplier approval documentation.
  • Place orders for ad hoc and regular factory consumables.
  • Assist with relevant project work as determined by managers, contributing to
  • business improvement plans.
  • Cover ad hoc duties such as managing product sampling requests, processing sales orders, and coordinating logistics for goods out.
  • Maintain and update the MRP system, tracking existing orders and raising new purchase orders.
  • Assist with KPI tracking, forecasting, and month-end reporting.

Essential Requirements for the Procurement Assistant:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative or procurement / Purchasing role, ideally within the FMCG or food manufacturing sector
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables, HLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, Index Match) and experience with MRP systems.
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail, process data accurately, and use initiative to solve problems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with internal teams and suppliers.
  • A respectful, honest team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
