Registered Manager - Children's Residential Service – Full time - £40-60k pa – Leicester

A brand new children’s residential service, supporting unaccompanied asylum-seeking children aged 16-18, requires a passionate and efficient Registered Manager to effectively lead a multi-disciplinary team.

This is a senior management role and the successful candidate must demonstrate high levels of professionalism, competence and leadership and be able to confidently represent the organisation. You will be rewarded with a competitive salary as well as a £5k bonus if an Outstanding Ofsted inspection is achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct referral assessments, placements, and admissions.
  • Maintain staff rotas and provide emergency out-of-hours cover.
  • Identify and address care and training needs.
  • Oversee care processes, including risk assessments and care plans.
  • Maintain compliance with safeguarding protocols and statutory legislation.
  • Conduct quality reviews and manage inspections.
     

Skills & Knowledge:

Essential:

  • Registered Manager’s Award or Diploma Level 5 achieved within the relevant care environment
  • Commitment to safeguarding, promoting diversity, confidentiality, and continuous development
  • Supervisory experience in a relevant care environment
  • UK drivers' licence 

Desirable:

  • Experienced in UASC, however transferrable skills will be considered
